It’s apple season! There’s nothing like a fresh picked apple. From the crunchy juicy tart ones to the softer, sweeter version they are always delicious especially when picked right from the tree. I have to admit that this year I didn’t pick my own, although that’s a fantastic family affair. I did however make it to the local orchard to purchase some “just picked” varieties. White flour, white sugar, white potatoes, white rice, table salt…that’s white stuff. Typically these white food items have been processed and bleached. While you may not be able to eliminate them from your diet, you should be aware of your consumption and some alternatives. Once you achieve something more than what you have before, or what you thought you were capable of, other people may be eager to follow. There is a lot of talk at the gym now about chin-ups! Of course 5000 in 24 hours is very likely beyond what many would consider. Why not 5000 chin-ups in a month, or in a year? If you can’t do one chin up right now, your goal could be to learn to do one (or maybe 10) within a month.
