Honouring Your Fitness Goals

Your goals may even inspire others to work towards something more. Once you achieve something more than what you have before, or what you thought you were capable of, other people may be eager to follow. There is a lot of talk at the gym now about chin-ups! Of course 5000 in 24 hours is very likely beyond what many would consider. Why not 5000 chin-ups in a month, or in a year? If you can’t do one chin up right now, your goal could be to learn to do one (or maybe 10) within a month. If Lucas can do 5000, there is no doubt in my mind that nearly everyone could train to do one.

Do the benefits of keeping a food log outweigh the time and effort of doing so? Absolutely! In speaking to people who recently completed the Biggest Loser fitness challenge at Fitness Force, I believe this even more than I did before. Not only does the log leave you with valuable information that you can share with your personal trainer but it makes you conscious and accountable to yourself. Those who keep great food logs reach their fitness goals faster.
